France. Brittany. The Chapel of Our Lady of Peace, known as "La Balladeuse," in Clohars-Carnoët, was originally built in Nizon where it was painted by Gauguin, then dismantled stone by stone to be reinstalled in its current location by the architect Pierre Brunerie. Modern stained-glass windows by the artists Alfred Manessier and Jean Le Moal.
