For the French television documentary series "5 minutes that changed the world" Irish actor Richard TODD (lks.) plays the role of Sir Alexander FLEMING, the discoverer of penicillin. Fleming's widow Amalia FLEMING (like Fleming, also a beacteriologist) explains to TODD the development of cell cultures in a Petri dish in Fleming's former laboratory. Undated, circa late 1950s.
